Chesterbrook, PA Couples Counseling
Marriage and partnerships are not always easy, and challenges, even pain, can make keeping commitments difficult. Couples may choose to begin counseling when they feel they can no longer solve problems together and seek the support of an objective third party. Often Chesterbrook couples come to counseling in different phases of a relationship and varying life states. Some couples have been together for a short time while others may have been married for many years. Sometimes counseling can be short term, but often the solutions to problems that exist in a relationship may not experience change in just a few sessions.
Whether it is communication, conflict resolution, trust issues, infidelities, finances, blended family problems, or intimacy, therapy intervention can help. A person may need another to help identify the problem/s, direct them to find solutions or help a person find hope, when it seems that all hope is lost.
I work with each couple to explore and discover the root of stressful issues to help bring a couple to a place of reconciliation, growth and deeper levels of love, trust and intimacy. The decision to go to couple’s counseling can be a difficult one, but it can be an opportunity to demonstrate a person’s commitment to his or her partner while working through barriers in a relationship in order to restore trust, safety and a sense of closeness.
