What to expect

During counseling sessions you will be discussing your specific concerns. Through this process you will begin to learn more about yourself and, with guidance, identify your problems and find the most effective ways to help you cope with your life and its challenges. Collaboratively we will create a treatment plan to resolve the problems you are facing and work to empower you to make informed, positive lifestyle choices in order to reach your highest potential.
Initially we will comprehensively review the following:

  • Family History
  • Medical History
  • Current Medications
  • Mental Health History
  • Any current life transitions or issues
  • Specific behavioral, mental or physical symptoms
  • Reasons for seeking counseling
  • Goals, Immediate and long-range
